My name is Andrea S. de Vos. I am an attorney with more than a decade of experience practicing in the United States and Europe, including in New York, Brussels, and Amsterdam. I now practice independently from Amsterdam, focusing on intellectual property matters, technology transactions, commercial contracting, and IP governance.
Having spent 13 years studying and working outside the Netherlands—including nearly a decade in New York City and time in Brussels and Berlin—I bring a pragmatic, cross-cultural perspective and help clients navigate matters that span the United States and Europe.
This practice sits at the intersection of innovation, technical precision, and practical deal-making, with a focus on helping parties align and move transactions forward. I consider it a privilege to be licensed to represent clients and to be entrusted with matters that shape their organizations—and, at times, society.
Outside my practice, I enjoy painting and literature and spending time outdoors, often exploring nature trails and museums with my three sons.

In prior roles at leading global and international law firms in New York and the EU, and in-house at a global company, I advised on intellectual property and technology transactions, including licensing and other commercial agreements. My experience also includes supporting clients in complex contentious matters—government investigations, litigation, and arbitration—including disputes involving standard essential patents.
I have represented a broad range of clients, from venture capital and private equity firms to global technology companies across the software, biotech, fintech, telecommunications, and industrial sectors, as well as individuals in the arts and creative industries.
